Maayan Benartzi was born in Florida and raised in California and Israel. She completed her undergraduate studies in New Orleans, LA and graduate studies in San Francisco, CA. Maayan's experiences living, studying and working in different communities around the country and globe have strongly influenced her work and her ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds.
With camera in hand and vision in heart, Maayan has set out to photograph children in a way that is as intriguing and unique as they are. Currently working out of Tel Aviv and NYC, Maayan is always exploring innovative ways to expand the lens of children's photography.
